The 30th Annual Research and Leadership Conference sponsored by the Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing and the Iota Omicron Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing will be held on Friday, November 10th, 2017, at the Lamplighter Inn, London, Ontario. The theme this year is "Closing the Gap: Research and Scholarship in a Clinical World".
This year we are pleased to announce we will be hosting a panel of local experts to discuss and have an interactive conversation about the seemingly ever growing gap between academia and clinical nursing. Be prepared for an in depth conversation on how to mitigate this reality and to learn of techniques for bringing academic research into the practice of 'front line' nursing.
We will be joined by
Maureen Loft, NP, PhD
Nurse Practitioner / Clinical Nurse Specialist
Strathroy General Hospital
Giovanna Good, BHSc, BScN, MPH, RN
Chief Nursing Officer, Professional Practice Leader
Interim Supervisor, Child Health
Lambton Public Health
Christina Hurlock-Chorostecki, NP, PhD

We look forward to seeing you at this professionally and personally stimulating conference!
